Eligibility for Free Admission

The following visitors are entitled to free admission to the château and gardens upon presentation of valid proof:

    • Children and young people under 18 years of age.
    • Young people aged 18 to 25 who are residents of the European Union (EU) or European Economic Area (EEA).
    • Visitors with a disability and one accompanying person.
    • French job seekers and recipients of French social benefits.
    • French primary and secondary school teachers with a valid "Pass Éducation".

Reduced Rate

A reduced rate is available for certain visitors, such as teachers without the Pass Éducation and young people aged 18-25 from outside the EU. Please inquire at the ticket office with your supporting documents.

How to Claim

Even if you are eligible for free entry, you must still obtain a ticket. You can do this at the ticket office on the day of your visit by presenting your valid proof of eligibility (e.g., ID card, passport, disability card, proof of residence).

Please note that while our website allows you to book paid tickets, free tickets must be collected in person at the château. We recommend that paying members of your party book their tickets online in advance to save time.
